Three Teenagers Killed in Separate Overnight Crashes in Bristol County
Bristol County, MA – Authorities have confirmed that two separate overnight crashes in Bristol County claimed the lives of three Massachusetts teenagers late Friday into early Saturday.
The first crash occurred in Taunton shortly after 10:13 p.m. Friday evening near 168 Tremont Street. First responders arrived to find a Toyota Tacoma that had veered off the roadway, struck a porch, and ignited into flames. Despite immediate response efforts, the driver, a teenage female from Dighton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second incident was reported at approximately 1:09 a.m. on Interstate 195. Massachusetts State Police received multiple calls regarding a vehicle traveling erratically at high speeds prior to the crash. Troopers later discovered a Kia sedan that had collided in the median near the Reed Road exit ramp. Investigators determined that both occupants, a male and female teenager from Fall River, had been ejected from the vehicle and located in the left travel lane. Both were pronounced dead on scene.
The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office and Massachusetts State Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding both fatal crashes.
