Essex County District Attorney Confirms Fatal Shooting in Lawrence
Lawrence, MA – A 27-year-old man was shot and killed early on the morning of September 13th in Lawrence, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.
Lawrence Police were dispatched shortly after 2:00 a.m. to 154 Essex Street following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing and involves multiple agencies. Along with the Lawrence Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to District Attorney Paul Tucker’s office, the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are actively assisting in the case.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity at this time.
