Essex, MA - Earlier this afternoon, first responders were called to the area of Western Avenue and Scots Way in Essex after reports of a vehicle fire.
According to officials, both Essex Police and Essex Fire responded to the scene. Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control, preventing further spread or damage. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Based on the image, the vehicle appeared to be a vintage Volkswagen Bus, likely at least 50 years old. The cause of the fire has not yet been released. Police temporarily restricted traffic in the immediate area while crews worked the scene, but the roadway has since been reopened.
