Boston Police Youth Hockey Program Continues to Build Skills and Community Connections

Boston, MA – The Boston Police Ice Hockey Skills Program returned to the rink this week, offering young players the opportunity to improve their skating, stickhandling, and decision-making on the ice.

The program, run in partnership with community organizations, combines athletic training with mentorship and positive engagement between officers and local youth. After the session, participants enjoyed ice cream courtesy of the Boston Police Department’s Ice Cream Truck.

For the past five years, FMC Ice Sports has provided the rink space, while the Boston Police Foundation’s COP Fund and HP Hood have continued their support to ensure the program’s success.

The Boston Police Department encourages interested families to learn more or register by contacting the District A-7 Community Service Office at 617-343-4752 or visiting BPDnews.com/youth-programs.
